There’s a new vegan food market in East London and it’s great (even if you’re not vegan)

If you live in London, chances are you have been to Broadway Market in London Fields, Hackney. If you’re not from London, or have never been to Broadway Market, make sure you visit this lovely little food market in the East End on a Saturday morning – it’s basically where all the cool kids (including me *ahum*) hang out during the weekend to do their grocery shopping and try the latest street food and it’s just brilliant!

And now there’s an even better reason to visit this part of town, because London’s very first weekly vegan market made its debut here last month. Broadway Vegan Market takes place every Saturday between 10am and 4pm at the schoolyard of the London Fields Primary School, just around the corner of the ‘original’ Broadway Market.

Broadway Vegan Market brings together of some of London’s best vegan street food stalls as well as a range of vegan food start-ups selling their products (I bought the most delicious Baba Ganoush, for instance). On top of that, they do outdoor yoga sessions (weather permitting) and there’s some great live music.

Nice vegan food and vibes – even non-vegans like me must agree that this is a perfect place to spend your free Saturday morning!
